Privacy Policy

Seattle, WA 98111-3961 (“short name,” “organization,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you access or use our websites, mobile sites, mobile application, and other online services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Site”).

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time.  If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our website homepage or sending you a notification).  We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Site or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices and the choices available to you.

These Third-Party Products and Services and Third-Party Content are not under the control of Evergreen Collaborative, and Evergreen Collaborative is not responsible for the security or privacy of any personal information you share with them. If you use Third-Party Products and Services, those third parties’ collection, use and disclosure of your information will not be subject to this Privacy Policy; rather, it will be subject to their own privacy policies and terms. Exercise caution and review the applicable privacy policies of any Third-Party Product and Service, including those you use in connection with the Sites, before providing them with your personal information. 

ONLINE PETITIONS

If you sign an online petition, you understand that such petition is public information and that we may make the petition, and your name, city, state, and any comments provided in connection therewith publicly available.  In addition, we may provide such petitions or compilations thereof, including your comments, name, city, and state to national, state or local leaders, or to the press. 

SOCIAL SHARING FEATURES

The Site may offer social sharing features and other integrated tools (such as the Facebook “Like” button), which let you share actions you take on our Site with other media, and vice versa. ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICS SERVICES PROVIDED BY OTHERS

Our organization is based in the United States, and is directed to U.S. residents, and we process and store information in the U.S. If you are located outside the U.S., we and our service providers may transfer your information to, or store or access to your information in, jurisdictions that may not provide equivalent levels of data protection as your home jurisdiction. 

YOUR CHOICES

When you sign up for our mailing lists or subscribe for updates:

We collect your e-mail address, state, and zip code.

We use your e-mail address to send you updates. We may use your zip code and state to send you e-mail messages about upcoming events in your area. You may remove your e-mail address from our lists by emailing us at info@. We may share your information with other like-minded groups and organizations. 

We log IP addresses, or the location of your computer network on the Internet, for systems administrations and troubleshooting purposes. We also may use IP addresses in the aggregate to track which pages people visit in order to improve the quality of the Site. We do not use this data to develop profiles of individual visitors to our website.

How we protect your information:

We are putting forth every effort to ensure the security and privacy of the information that you share with us online. Our website has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of the information under our control.

In addition, remember that steps you take to help protect the privacy of your personal information, such as safeguarding your passwords and logging off the website after viewing or submitting personal information, are equally important. If you have broadband access to the Internet it is strongly advised to use a firewall.

Cookies

Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default.  If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies, however, this does not necessarily affect third-party flash cookies that may be used in connection with our Sites.  You can also review your choices regarding behavioral advertising cookies at www.aboutads.info/choices. Do-Not-Track Signals

If and when a standard for responding is established, we may revisit our policy on responding to these signals.

You may opt out of receiving promotional emails or text messages from us by following the instructions in those emails or text messages.  If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations. Please note that opt-out requests may not take effect immediately and may take a reasonable amount of time to receive, process, and apply, during which time your information shall remain subject to your prior privacy settings. Further, please note that (unless required by applicable law) we may not be able to retrieve or rescind any information provided to third parties prior to your election to opt out.  

Mobile Push Notifications/Alerts

With your consent, we may send promotional and non-promotional push notifications or alerts to your mobile device.  You can deactivate these messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your mobile device.

YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our organization does not knowingly contact or collect personal information via the Sites from children under the age of 13 without appropriate parental notice and consent. Further, the Sites are not directed to, or intended to solicit information of any kind from, children under the age of 13.  If we are informed and confirm that we have unintentionally received personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information.
