Julian Brave Noisecat

Julian Brave Noisecat

Julian Brave Noisecat is a member of both the Evergreen Advisory and Governing Boards. Julian is also Vice President of Policy & Strategy at Data For Progress the Narrative Change Director for the Natural History Museum. He holds fellowships with the Type Media Center and the NDN Collective. Julian is a proud member of the Canid Lake Band Tsq’escen and a descendant of the Lil’Wat Nation of Mount Currie. He studied history at Columbia University and the University of Oxford, where he was a Clarendon scholar. He led 350.org’s US policy and was an Urban Fellow in the Commissioner’s Office of the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development. His work has appeared in publications such as the New York Times, The New Yorker, The Guardian, and The Paris Review.
