Andrea Carlos is a fellow at Evergreen. She is pursuing a master’s in environmental science & management at the Bren School at UCSB, specializing in economics and politics of the environment. Her master’s thesis focuses on analyzing heavy industry decarbonization policy and crafting policy recommendations within the U.S. to reduce industrial emissions and protect public health. She has a degree in economics and previously worked in revenue data analytics and human capital technology consulting. She looks forward to diving deeper into industrial decarbonization and advocating for bold climate action with Evergreen. Andrea is from Metro Manila and now resides in Santa Barbara. In her free time, she enjoys eating good food, unwinding by the beach, and playing (or, more often, watching) sports with friends and family.
