“Donald Trump’s response to tonight’s sole climate question was a crash course in his real-life approach to the climate crisis: First, he ignored it entirely to talk about something else, and when that stopped working, he started lying. Tonight, debate watchers saw one candidate who lied to them about his record on climate change, and another who has actually delivered the most ambitious and impactful climate agenda in American history. Voters want a president who will act on climate, and there was only one on stage in Atlanta tonight.”
